Most of you already know, the kratom industry is targeted as a “prohibited” product category for credit card merchants to process. Offshore accounts are extremely expensive to all parties and would require us to increase or prices. Therefore, we have chosen the method of processing payments as an “e-check” by way of the FDIC’s “Check 21” legislation. As we continue to actively search for a reliable alternative to process payments, our e-check system is safe, effective and complies with FDIC’s banking regulations and security protocols.
How e-check works
Select your products just as you would in any online order. The products will be in your cart for checkout.
Once you are ready to pay for your order, you will find the e-check option when you check out. Select this option if not already selected for you. You will need to add your checking account number & routing number. Then, you will be authorizing payment with an electronic image of a check through the secure portal. A MICR code is issued. This MICR code helps process the check easier and quicker than a traditional paper check. Once we have conformation your check cleared, we will ship your order immediately!
• Shipping: Orders are not shipped until we have conformation that check has cleared your account. You will receive an e-mail with tracking information when your product is shipped.
• Checks: We check our systems throughout the day for cleared checks. (Usually, we know what checks have cleared for the day by 11am EST.) Depending on your bank, this could take up to 72 hours (3 business banking days, not including weekends and holidays.)
• Cut-Off Times: The daily cut-off time for placing a new order is 8:00pm EST business banking days Monday through Friday. Transactions completed after 8pm EST will be considered the next business banking day.
• Weekend and Holiday – transactions will be processed on the next business banking day, so please plan accordingly when holidays fall on a Friday or Monday.
• NSF: Your bank may charge you for “non-sufficient funds” (NSF) for checks that do not clear your account. Please, make sure you have the amount of the transaction in your account since this process happens quickly.
o Additionally, Blended Botanicals is charged a $15.00 fee from our bank for an NSF check. Unfortunately, this fee will be added to your total before shipping the product.
• Unpaid Orders: Canceled after 2 weeks.
